PLANNING COMMISSION

 

September 23, 2026                                                                                                     Louisville, NE

The Louisville Planning Commission meeting was held on September 23, 2026 at the Louisville City Hall. Members present were Mandy Wetterberg, Candy McClun, Jason McClun, Andy Mixan, and Colby Johnson. Jim Ryan and Ben Barenz were absent. Also present were members of City Council and City Attorney Roger Johnson.

Kristen Ohnoutka and Ruva Tsoka with JEO presented a review of the comprehensive plan and future use plan to City Council and Planning Commission. There was much discussion about updating the future use plan to depict ideal zoning for more of the extra-territorial jurisdiction as most areas are currently not defined. There was also discussion regarding the accuracy of the zoning map and the sufficiency of the subdivision regulations as they’re currently written. The Planning Commission will begin to work through defining more of the extra-territorial jurisdiction in the future use plan, and upon its completion, city council will review and decide on the implementation of the plan.

Johnson moves, Jason McClun seconds to adjourn the meeting at 7:13 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote of those attending.
